These shrimp are 2-4 months old, 1/2"-3/4" long. They have a bright red body coloration beneath a translucent shell that grows more vibrant with age, not like “cherry shrimp” whose color is derived directly from their exoskeleton.
Prolific algae eaters, they will tirelessly work to keep your tank and all of its plants clean. Easy to raise, they will begin to multiple quickly as the sub adults we ship will mature and breed quickly in a favorable environment.
Shrimp will arrive with java moss to cling onto to ease their shipping. All have been bred and raised in our tanks, and their bloodline has run consistent with color for generations.
