Emersed grown is how most plants come from both online stores and in your local shop.  The plants are grown in a greenhouse, above waterline where they can be grown very rapidly in a humidity controlled environment. This means they are waiting for you to deal with the all the die back and melting leaves that occurs when you place it in Your aquarium. Turning your hard earned money into headaches waiting and hoping your new plants survive transitioning into a fully aquatic.
