Najas Guadelupensis - Guppy Grass

Guppy Grass is a visually attractive bright green plant but is also extremely useful to fish and invertebrates.  It provides excellent refuge for fry or shrimp as well as resting areas for adult fish while also helping to maintain very high water quality. This plant can thrive in low-light and low-tech setups and will grow into a large mass that can be easily pruned.

Guppy Grass can be planted and will root out exceptionally fast.  If you would prefer rooted plants please message us before purchase.  Guppy Grass can be left in a free form floating mass to cover the top level of your tank. Or planted and pruned to develope it into a thick forest.   This hardy plant can even live in brackish water if transitioned.

All plants are taken directly from our live bearer breeding tanks and will give you a plant that is used to a normal fish aquarium operation.  Not pulled from a warm water pond or green house solely grown to mass produce the cheapest, fastest grown plants for bulk selling.

SHIPPING

We ship everything by USPS Priority. This small price increase insures your plants arrive in optimal health.  Other sellers will send your plant product via ground freight.  Sure it is a couple dollars cheaper but your plant will be bouncing in a cold semi trailer for days on end.

We take pride in the fact our items are of the highest quality and optimal health. We guarantee your items will arrive safe, healthy and alive as long as they are delivered within the original USPS delivery window.

In the rare event of a DOA, send 2 clear photos of the DOA item in its unopened package within two hours of the first delivery attempt and you will be awarded in house credit toward your next purchase.

Please remember as with all plants, some melting may occur.  Your plant has been in the dark with fluctuating temperature for multiple days and is now in your tank that may also have different water parameters as well.  Please give your new plants time to adjust and heal themselves.

Shipping is by USPS by default. But you can request and pay for UPS overnight or 2nd day.

Shipping may be combined on multiple orders.

Our plants are shipped in breather bags within custom insulated boxes. Sorry, we are unable to ship outside the US at this time.

Seller reserves the right to delay shipping if the temperatures in the pick-up or delivery locations are too hot or cold for product safety.
