EBA CERTIFIED Endlers

Evolved from the simple common guppy, the Endler is a beautiful subspecies of limitless color variations, genetic diversity, and unique adaptations. The males of this species have evolved to display a stunning assortment of iridescent colors in order to court females. These qualities, along with their peaceful dispositions, make Endlers perfect aquarium fish for both beginners and advanced hobbyists.


However, pure-blooded Endlers are being faced with a great challenge;  they are in danger of extinction in the wild, and almost all fish being sold as “Endlers” are actually hybrids or simple dwarf guppies. There are only a few breeders left who keep pure strains of Endlers – which means this subspecies is much closer to extinction than previously thought.


In order to keep this strain of beautiful Endlers alive, Good Life Aquatics has joined a coalition of purist breeders to help protect this subspecies and make pure-blooded stock available to enthusiasts around our world. This coalition, known as the Endlers Breeding Association (EBA), has certified these Enders as pure stock. We are proud of our ability to keep this sub-species from extinction and share their hearty genetics and beautiful colors with our buyers.
